Junior Programs, Camps and Leagues
Junior golf is a main focus of The Kaneff Group of Properties and the Michael Crane Academy of Golf for the future of our game. Together there is a strong commitment in introducing youths to the game and helping nourish their development.
Junior Golf Camp
The Junior Golf Camp is a popular summer event at Lionhead with the daily activities starting at 9:00 am and ending at 4:00 pm Monday to Friday for 10 weeks through the summer. The campers will receive instruction each day on a variety of aspects of the game. Through the week we try to get the campers onto the golf course as much as possible based on course availability (Unfortunately there is no guarantee the campers will play every day). Non-golf activities such as tennis, soccer and other games are scheduled through the week providing a variety of fun each and every day.
Participant’s ages range from 7 to 15 and skill level from beginners to skilled young competitors. Along with the skills of the game an important emphasis is placed on etiquette, safety, dress code and fun.
Lunch is provided from the clubhouse or BQ hut with a variety of healthy and kid’s favourites on the menu. Don’t be disappointed and register early.

Junior Clinics
Junior golf is a main focus of the Kaneff Group of Properties and the Michael Crane Golf Academy for the future of the game. Together there is a strong commitment to introducing youths to golf and helping nourish their development. Saturday mornings is reserved for our Juniors both Lion Kings and Lion Queens, ages from 7 to 17. Ratio 6:1. You can sign up for a single skill or lesson or purchase a series of 5. The complete season is 14 weeks starting May 23. A package for the full term is $299.

Junior Golf League
Our golf league is held on Sunday evenings at Lionhead. A brief lesson is followed by a twilight round of golf. The pro will circulate around the course and reinforce the skills that were taught in the lessons. Parents are encouraged to supervise each foursome through out the evening. Applications and information for the league are available at the academy office. Please phone if you are interested.
Dates: May 24, 31, June 7, 14, 21, 28, July 5, 12, 19, 26, August 9, 16, 23, 30 excluding holiday weekends.
